Steve Milton is an American entrepreneur and the Co-Founder and CEO of Fintopio, a pioneering CeDeFi Web3 wallet platform designed to make cryptocurrency transactions more accessible to the mainstream. His career spans leadership roles in some of the world’s top technology and finance companies, including Binance, BNB Chain, Shopify, eBay, and Unilever.[1]
Career and Vision
Milton entered the crypto space with a mission to simplify digital finance. During his time at Binance and BNB Chain, he witnessed first-hand the barriers faced by everyday users in accessing and managing crypto assets. This inspired him to launch Fintopio with a “human-first” design philosophy, aiming to make great technology effortless to use.[2]
Fintopio: CeDeFi for the Masses
Founded with the goal of blending the trust of centralized finance (CeFi) with the autonomy of decentralized finance (DeFi), Fintopio operates as a CeDeFi wallet offering key features:
- Multi-platform access – available on Telegram, iOS, Android, and Web.
- User-friendly interface – enables crypto transfers via Telegram usernames, removing the need for complex wallet addresses.
- Security-focused – seed phrases are not stored, emphasizing user control.
- Customizable crypto vouchers – ideal for gifting or mass distribution campaigns.[3]
Growth and Recognition
Since its beta launch in April 2024, Fintopio has crossed over 1 million active monthly users. Its integration with Telegram has been a key growth driver, especially in emerging markets across Asia and Africa. Fintopio also received Telegram’s prestigious Verified badge, becoming one of only two DeFi wallets with this designation.[4]
Future Plans
Steve Milton envisions expanding Fintopio’s offerings to include fiat payments, deeper integration with messaging apps, and new Web3 utilities. His long-term goal is to make crypto payments as simple as sending a text message — helping drive mass adoption of digital finance worldwide.[5]
