Shubman Gill
Shubman Gill (born 8 September 1999) is an Indian international cricketer who plays as a right-handed top-order batsman. He represents India in all formats of international cricket and is regarded as one of the most promising batsmen of his generation. Gill is also associated with the Gujarat Titans franchise in the Indian Premier League (IPL), where he has served as captain.
Early Life
Shubman Gill was born in Fazilka, Punjab, to Lakhwinder Singh Gill and Kirat Gill. His father, an agriculturist, noticed his son's cricketing talent at a very young age and supported his training. To help him pursue cricket seriously, the family moved to Mohali so that he could practice at the Punjab Cricket Association facilities.[1]
