Shehnaaz Gill
Shehnaaz Kaur Gill (born 27 January 1994) is an Indian actress, model, and singer known for her work in Punjabi and Hindi films. She rose to fame after participating in the reality show Bigg Boss 13 (2019–2020), where her charismatic personality and humor made her a household name. She has since appeared in several films and music videos and is regarded as one of the most popular entertainment figures on Indian television and social media.[1]

Early Life & Education
Shehnaaz Gill was born on 27 January 1994 in Punjab, India. She developed a love for music and acting at a young age and frequently performed at school events. After completing her schooling at Dalhousie Hilltop School, she earned a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree from Lovely Professional University, Phagwara.
Career
Modeling and Early Work (2015–2018)
Gill began her modeling career with the 2015 music video Shiv Di Kitaab. Her appearances in Punjabi songs such as Pindaan Diyan Kudiyaan, Yeah Baby, and Majhe Di Jatti made her a familiar face in the Punjabi entertainment industry. She made her acting debut with the Punjabi film Sat Shri Akaal England (2017), followed by Kala Shah Kala and Daaka in 2019.
Breakthrough with Bigg Boss 13 (2019–2020)
Shehnaaz gained nationwide fame after joining Bigg Boss 13 on Colors TV. Her charm, humor, and emotional honesty earned her massive popularity and a loyal fanbase. She finished as the second runner-up and became one of the most talked-about contestants in the show’s history. During the same period, she launched her music career with singles like Veham, Range, and Ronda Ali Peti.
Transition to Films and Music (2021–Present)
In 2021, Shehnaaz made her Punjabi film breakthrough with Honsla Rakh, opposite Diljit Dosanjh and Sonam Bajwa. The film was a box-office success and received positive reviews for her performance.
