Mohammed Shami Ahmed (born 3 September 1990) is an Indian international cricketer known for his fast bowling, seam movement, and reverse swing. He represents the Indian national cricket team across formats and has played in the Indian Premier League (IPL) for franchises such as Gujarat Titans.

Early Life

Mohammed Shami was born in Amroha, Uttar Pradesh, India. His father, Tousif Ahmed, was a fast bowler in local cricket and played an important role in developing Shami’s interest in the sport.[1]
