Early Life and Education
Jasmeet Thind completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Computers from the University of Mumbai in 2012. During his college years, he was actively involved in social initiatives, serving as the Vice President of Public Relations and Media for Make A Difference, an NGO focused on the education of underprivileged children. His leadership qualities and commitment to social impact were evident early on through his participation in various youth-led projects.[2]
Professional Career

Founding of CoutLoot
In 2016, alongside co-founder Mahima Kaul, Thind launched CoutLoot, a platform aimed at bridging the gap between India's offline retailers and online consumers. CoutLoot focuses on providing tools such as vernacular support, demand forecasting, and AI-generated content to enable small sellers to easily list and sell products online. This hybrid model of blending offline trust with online reach has positioned CoutLoot as one of India's key players in social commerce.[3]
Impact and Growth
CoutLoot has empowered thousands of street vendors, small shop owners, and local sellers to expand their reach beyond their immediate geography. The platform's accessible technology solutions have democratized e-commerce for India's unorganized retail sector, contributing to digital inclusion.
Under Thind’s leadership, CoutLoot has gained recognition for its innovative model and social impact, being featured in major media outlets and startup ecosystems.[4]
Vision and Future Plans
Looking ahead, Jasmeet Thind aims to expand CoutLoot's footprint globally, especially in other emerging markets that face similar challenges in retail digitization. He remains committed to creating a level playing field for small businesses, ensuring that technology serves as an enabler for inclusive economic growth.[5]
Personal Philosophy
Thind believes in solving real-world problems through empathy, innovation, and technology. His journey reflects a passion for social impact combined with entrepreneurial drive, making him a role model for young changemakers in India.
