Deepak Narwal was born into a Jat family in Sonipat, Haryana. A bright student, he regularly ranked among the top ten in his class. From childhood, he was fascinated with technology and creativity. He pursued his higher education at the Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (LUVAS), Hisar, graduating as a Veterinary and Livestock Development Assistant (VLDA).
