Amit Sah
Amitbhai Anilchandra Shah (born 22 October 1964) is an Indian politician and the current Minister of Home Affairs and Minister of Cooperation in the Government of India. A senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), he is widely regarded as one of the most influential political strategists in modern Indian politics and a close associate of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Known for his strong organizational skills and decisive policymaking, Shah has been instrumental in the BJP’s historic electoral successes and major national reforms since 2014.[1]

Amit Shah was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra, into a Gujarati Hindu Bania family. His father, Anil Chandra Shah, was a businessman in Mansa, Gujarat. Raised in Ahmedabad, Shah developed an early interest in politics through his involvement with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
He pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from C.U. Shah Science College, Ahmedabad. During his student years, Shah became active in the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), the student wing of the RSS, which shaped his ideological foundation and future political direction.[2]
