Early Life and Education

Abin was born in Alappuzha, Kerala, to an academically driven family. His mother, Leena Kuttappan, served as a school principal and was a formative influence on his passion for education. His father, Rajesh Kumar, is a businessman, whose strategic thinking helped shape Abin’s entrepreneurial mindset.

Abin completed a Ph.D. in Economics and also earned degrees in MA, B.Ed, and M.Ed. To broaden his teaching approach, he pursued a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning (PGCTL). He also obtained a diploma in Student Counseling and Behavior Management, and holds UNESCO certification for educational leadership.

Career

In his 20s, Abin founded Edspire Education and Laa Education and Overseas, institutions focused on academic excellence, international admissions, and student-centric counseling. As Principal and Academic Director, he introduced progressive methodologies such as differentiated instruction, hybrid learning environments, and teacher upskilling programs.
