Abin C Raj
Abin C Raj (born March 26, 1996) is an Indian educator, academic leader, and founder of Edspire Education and Laa Education and Overseas. He is known for his innovative contributions to school leadership, international academic counseling, and his advocacy for personalized and inclusive learning models. A recipient of multiple national recognitions, Abin is among the youngest education entrepreneurs reshaping India’s academic framework.[1][2]
Early Life and Education
Abin was born in Alappuzha, Kerala, to an academically driven family. His mother, Leena Kuttappan, served as a school principal and was a formative influence on his passion for education. His father, Rajesh Kumar, is a businessman, whose strategic thinking helped shape Abin’s entrepreneurial mindset.
Abin completed a Ph.D. in Economics and also earned degrees in MA, B.Ed, and M.Ed. To broaden his teaching approach, he pursued a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning (PGCTL). He also obtained a diploma in Student Counseling and Behavior Management, and holds UNESCO certification for educational leadership.[3][4]
Career
In his 20s, Abin founded Edspire Education and Laa Education and Overseas, institutions focused on academic excellence, international admissions, and student-centric counseling. As Principal and Academic Director, he introduced progressive methodologies such as differentiated instruction, hybrid learning environments, and teacher upskilling programs.
His leadership is deeply rooted in emotional intelligence, global exposure, and cultural sensitivity. The institutions he leads have become hubs for 21st-century education, prioritizing mental well-being, creativity, and academic rigor.
Abin is also known for mentoring young educators and conducting national workshops on educational leadership, curriculum innovation, and behavioral education.
