A graduate of the University of Southern California, Aryan Khan has built a reputation as a creative visionary in both luxury branding and entertainment.

He is the co-founder of Slab Ventures and the creator of the luxury lifestyle brand D’yavol, which encompasses premium beverages, fashion, and upcoming entertainment ventures. Apart from business, Aryan has entered filmmaking with his debut web series, The Ba***ds of Bollywood, set to stream on Netflix in 2025.[1][2]

Early Life & Education

Aryan Khan was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, on 12 November 1997. He grew up in a media-savvy yet grounded environment, under the guidance of his parents Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan. Aryan has two younger siblings — actress and entrepreneur Suhana Khan and the youngest, AbRam Khan.

He attended Dhirubhai Ambani International School in Mumbai before moving to Sevenoaks School in Kent, England. Aryan later graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film and Television Production from the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts, one of the world’s top film schools. His education laid the foundation for his creative direction and storytelling sensibilities.

Career

Early Appearances

Aryan made his first on-screen appearance as a child artist, playing the younger version of his father’s character in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham... (2001). He later lent his voice to the Hindi dub of Disney’s The Incredibles (2004), where his father voiced the lead superhero. Years later, Aryan returned to voice acting, lending his voice to Simba in the Hindi adaptation of The Lion King (2019), and reprising the role in Mufasa: The Lion King (2024).

D’yavol and Slab Ventures

In 2022, Aryan co-founded Slab Ventures along with Bunty Singh and Leti Blagoeva. The company launched D’yavol, a luxury lifestyle collective that blends fashion, beverages, and design. The name, derived from the Bulgarian word for “devil,” symbolizes rebellion and creativity.

Under this brand, Aryan introduced:

  • D’yavol Vodka (2022) – in partnership with AB InBev, as the brand’s first premium spirit.
  • D’yavol Inception (2023) – a limited-edition blended malt Scotch whisky.
  • D’yavol X (2023) – a luxury streetwear and fashion line.

His directorial debut came with the D’yavol X campaign video, which featured both Aryan and Shah Rukh Khan, marking their first on-screen collaboration in a creative project.

In 2025, Aryan announced D’yavol Añejo, a premium tequila venture in partnership with Radico Khaitan, expanding the brand’s presence into global markets.

Filmmaking Career

Aryan Khan’s first major foray into the entertainment industry came as the creator, writer, and director of the Netflix series The Ba***ds of Bollywood. Produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, the show explores the unseen side of the Hindi film industry through dark humor and satire. It stars Bobby Deol, Lakshya, and Sahher Bambba, and is co-written by Bilal Siddiqui and Manav Chauhan.

Scheduled for release in 2025, the series marks Aryan’s emergence as a filmmaker with a bold and cinematic storytelling approach.
