Neeraj Singh hails from India and holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from ITM, Gwalior. He further pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Computing from the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (CDAC). To enhance his business acumen, he later completed an MBA in Product Management and Marketing from the prestigious UCLA School of Management.[2]
Professional Career
Singh began his career in India’s tech ecosystem and gained significant experience at Flipkart, where he served as an Engineering Manager. At Flipkart, he led key projects, including the development of the customer returns and refunds system—an initiative that sharpened his product development and user experience skills.[3]
Founding Groww
In 2016, Neeraj Singh joined forces with former Flipkart colleagues Lalit Keshre, Harsh Jain, and Ishan Bansal to start Groww. They noticed that most Indians found investing confusing and inaccessible. Launched in 2017, Groww was built with the vision to democratize access to investing and simplify personal finance.
As the CTO, Singh oversees the product architecture, engineering operations, and user research, ensuring the platform remains secure, scalable, and user-friendly.[4]
