He is widely known for his roasting videos, comedic sketches, and reaction content on his YouTube channel CarryMinati. His secondary channel, CarryIsLive, focuses on gaming and live streams. With over 45 million subscribers, he is among the most-subscribed individual YouTubers in India.[1]
Early Life and Education
Ajey Nagar was born in Faridabad, Haryana, India. He attended Delhi Public School, Faridabad. During his school years, he developed an early interest in content creation.
Due to academic pressure and nervousness regarding his examinations, he chose to skip his Class XII board exams and later completed his education through distance learning.
His elder brother, Yash Nagar (also known as Wily Frenzy), is a music producer who frequently collaborates with him.[2]

Early Beginnings (2010–2015)
Ajey Nagar started his YouTube journey at the age of 10 by uploading football tutorial videos on a channel named STeaLThFeArzZ. Later, in 2014, he created another channel called AddictedA1, where he uploaded gameplay videos along with reactions.
In 2015, he renamed his channel to CarryDeol, where he mimicked Bollywood actor Sunny Deol while playing games like Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. The channel was later renamed to CarryMinati.[3]
Rise to Fame (2016–2020)
CarryMinati gained popularity through his Hindi-language roasting videos, satirical content, and comedic reactions to trending online topics.
In 2017, he launched his gaming and live streaming channel CarryIsLive. He hosted several charity live streams, raising funds for causes such as natural disaster relief and national emergencies.
In May 2020, his video YouTube vs TikTok: The End became highly controversial and was removed by YouTube for violating its policies related to harassment and cyberbullying. The incident sparked widespread debate on social media.[4]
Continued Success (2021–present)
CarryMinati became the first Indian YouTuber to cross 30 million subscribers in 2021 and later surpassed 40 million subscribers in 2023.
In 2023, he launched another channel, CarryMinati Productions Official, where he shares vlogs and behind-the-scenes content.

Legal Issue (2026)
In February 2026, a Mumbai court restrained Ajey Nagar from posting defamatory content against filmmaker Karan Johar. The case involved allegations that a video titled Coffee With Jalan contained objectionable content resembling Johar's talk show.
