Jubin Nautiyal (born 14 June 1989) is an Indian playback singer and live performer known for his work in Hindi cinema. He gained nationwide recognition for songs such as “Raataan Lambiyan,” “Tum Hi Aana,” and “Lut Gaye.” He received the IIFA Award for Best Male Playback Singer for “Raataan Lambiyan.”

Early Life and Education

Jubin Nautiyal was born in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, to Ram Sharan Nautiyal, a businessman and politician, and Neena Nautiyal, a businesswoman. He showed interest in music from an early age and began training in singing at the age of four.[1]

He studied at St. Joseph’s Academy, Dehradun, until class eight and later completed his schooling at Welham Boys’ School, Dehradun. During his school years, he studied classical music and learned to play instruments such as guitar, piano, harmonium, and drums. He later attended Mithibai College in Mumbai.[2]

Jubin began his musical journey with live performances in Dehradun. In 2011, he participated in the music reality show The X Factor India, where he was among the top contestants.[3]
