Karan Aujla (born Jaskaran Singh Aujla; 18 January 1997) is an Indian-born Canadian singer, songwriter and rapper associated with Punjabi music. Popularly known as “Geetan Di Machine,” he is recognized for his lyrical style, global chart success and albums such as B.T.F.U. and Making Memories. He is regarded as one of the leading contemporary artists in Punjabi hip hop and pop music.

Early Life and Background

Karan Aujla was born in Ghurala village, Punjab, India, to Balwinder Singh Aujla and Rajinder Kaur. He lost both his parents at the age of nine and was subsequently raised by his sisters and paternal uncle.[1]

From an early age, Aujla showed interest in writing poetry and lyrics. He later moved to Canada, where he continued developing his musical career while maintaining strong roots in Punjabi culture.[2]
