Nimrat Kaur
Nimrat Kaur (born 13 March 1982) is an Indian actress who works in Hindi films and American television. She started her career as a print model and later moved to theatre. She gained recognition with the film The Lunchbox and later appeared in films and international series.

Nimrat Kaur was born in Pilani, Rajasthan, into a Sikh family. Her father, Bhupender Singh, was an army officer, and her mother is Avinash Kaur. She has a younger sister, Rubina Singh.[1]
She completed her schooling in different cities and later studied at Shri Ram College of Commerce. After her studies, she moved to Mumbai to pursue a career in acting.[2]
