Rannvijay Singh Singha (born 16 March 1983) is an Indian actor, television personality, and VJ. He first gained national recognition after winning the first season of MTV Roadies in 2003. After his victory, he became one of the most recognizable faces of the show, later serving as a host, mentor, and gang leader for many seasons.

Rannvijay Singha was born on 16 March 1983 in Jalandhar, Punjab, India. He comes from a distinguished military family.[1]

His father, Lt. General Iqbal Singh Singha, served in the Indian Army and later became a United Nations Force Commander in Syria. His mother, Baljeet Kaur, is a poet.

Due to his father's transferable military career, Rannvijay studied in several schools across India. He eventually completed his schooling at Army Public School, Dhaula Kuan, New Delhi.[2]

He later graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from Hansraj College, University of Delhi.

MTV Roadies

Rannvijay became widely known after participating in MTV Roadies Season 1 in 2003. His determination, leadership qualities, and strong personality helped him win the competition.[3]
