Malaika Arora (born 23 October 1973) is an Indian actress, model, dancer, television personality and producer. She gained popularity through dance numbers in Hindi films and later became a prominent face on Indian television as a judge on reality shows.

Malaika Arora was born in Chembur, Mumbai. Her father, Anil Arora, worked in the Merchant Navy, and her mother, Joyce Polycarp, has Malayali roots. She has a younger sister, Amrita Arora, who is also an actress.[1]

She studied at Swami Vivekanand School in Chembur and later attended Holy Cross High School in Thane. She pursued higher education at Jai Hind College in Mumbai, where she studied Economics and Communications.
