Early Life and Background
Katrina Kaif was born on 16 July 1983 in Hong Kong. Her father, Mohammed Kaif, is of Kashmiri descent, and her mother, Suzanne Turquotte, is a British citizen and social worker. Her parents divorced when she was young, and she was raised by her mother. She has seven siblings.[1]
Due to her mother’s work, Katrina spent her childhood moving frequently, living in countries including China, Japan, France, Switzerland, Poland, Belgium, and the United States, before eventually settling in England. She was homeschooled by tutors and did not pursue formal college education.
She later moved to Mumbai on a British passport and worked in India on an employment visa.[2]

Katrina Kaif began her career as a model at the age of fourteen after winning a beauty contest in Hawaii.
