Kartik Aaryan
Kartik Aaryan (born Kartik Tiwari on 22 November 1990) is an Indian actor who works primarily in Hindi cinema. He is known for his performances in romantic comedies and commercially successful films. A Filmfare Award winner, Aaryan has also been featured in the Forbes India Celebrity 100 list.[1]
Early Life and Education
Kartik Aaryan was born in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, into a family of doctors. He completed his schooling in Gwalior before moving to Navi Mumbai to pursue a degree in biotechnology engineering at DY Patil University. During his college years, he developed an interest in acting and attended auditions alongside his academic studies.[2]
Career
Aaryan made his acting debut in 2011 with Pyaar Ka Punchnama. While his initial films saw mixed responses, he gained recognition for his comedic timing and monologues. His career breakthrough came with Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety (2018), which emerged as a major commercial success.
He went on to star in successful films such as Luka Chuppi, Pati Patni Aur Woh, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. He also received critical appreciation for his performances in Dhamaka, Freddy, and Chandu Champion. His role in Chandu Champion earned him the Filmfare Award for Best Actor.[3]
