Hira Warina
Hira Warina (born 23 February 1999) is an Afghan actress and model who works primarily in Indian cinema. She gained widespread recognition after appearing in a popular Dairy Milk Silk commercial and made her Bollywood debut opposite Aayush Sharma in Loveyatri (2018). She later received further attention for her special song appearance in Dabangg 3 and her work in commercial Hindi films and music videos.[1]
Early life and education
Hira Warina was born in Kabul, Afghanistan, to an Iraqi father and an Afghan mother. Due to the political instability and conflict in Afghanistan, her family relocated to India in 2013, where she settled in Delhi.[2]
From a young age, she aspired to pursue a career in acting and performing arts. To gain professional training, she studied Performing Arts at the New York Film Academy in New York.
Career
Hira Warina began her career as a model, working in print campaigns, fashion shoots, and television advertisements. She rose to prominence after featuring in a widely popular Dairy Milk Silk advertisement, which significantly boosted her visibility in India.[3]
In 2018, she made her Bollywood debut with Loveyatri, produced by Salman Khan. She appeared in a guest role in 99 Songs (2019) and gained further popularity through her special appearance in the song “Munna Badnaam” from Dabangg 3 (2019).
She expanded her work into item numbers and music videos, performing in songs such as “Gulebakavali” from Bimbisara (2022) and “Blast Baby” from Godfather (2022). She has also appeared in multiple Hindi and regional music videos, including Dhol Baja, Bahut Pyaar Tumse Karta Hai Dil, Chandni Baby, and Shehar Ghumawa.
In 2025, she featured in the Hindi comedy film Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2, directed by Anukalp Goswami, alongside Kapil Sharma, Manjot Singh, Ayesha Khan, and Parul Gulati.[4]
